DRIVER+ STANDARDISATION ACTIVITIES PRESENTED AT THE ISCRAM CONFERENCE

Jun 07, 2019

Following a call for Posters, DRIVER+ partner DIN, responsible for Standardisation in the project, presented its activities to a large audience attending the 16th International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management on 19-22 May in Valencia, Spain.

ISCRAM is a forum where researchers and practitioners from all around the world meet every year to share experiences and raise challenges in all the aspects related to the design, development, and use of information systems to improve the management of crisis and disaster situations.

René Lindner from DIN explained the overall approach to Standardisation in DRIVER+, being an integrative process, including the analysis of existing standards, the identification of standardisation needs and a co-creative approach for developing standards. If further includes the definition of criteria for selecting specific project results for standardisation.

In particular, René Lindner invited participants to partake in the CEN Workshops organised within the project to translate standardisation ideas into concrete CEN Workshop Agreements (CWAs).
