COP28: EU calls for accelerated emissions reductions and clean energy transition

The 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) started on 30 November in Dubai. The European Union is calling on all Parties to take urgent action to bring down greenhouse gas emissions this decade and respect their commitments under the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C
